Types of Engine Cooling System

The engine cooling system produced by our company mainly include the following types

Engine Electric Fuel Pump E2068

Engine Water Pump

The water pump pushes coolant from the radiator through the coolant system, into the engine and back around to the radiator. The heat that the coolant picked up from the engine is transferred to the air at the radiator. Without the water pump, the coolant just sits in the system.

Engine Electric Fuel Pump E2068

Engine Oil Pump

The oil pump is an internal combustion engine part that circulates engine oil under pressure to the rotating bearings, the sliding pistons and the camshaft of the engine. This lubricates the bearings, allows the use of higher-capacity fluid bearings and also assists in cooling the engine.

Engine Thermostat

Auto thermostat can quickly reach the normal operating temperature of the engine and stabilize it in a suitable temperature range, thereby protecting the engine. When the water temperature gauge is abnormal, the radiator fan is not running properly, fuel consumption increases, engine power is insufficient, coolant leaks, water tank cap jets, etc., it may all be a malfunction of the thermostat.

Advantages of Engine Cooling System

Engine Water Pump
Engine water pump have many advantages, including: An electric water pump is far more in tune with your engine's specific cooling needs. By utilizing a controller, it can determine how much coolant circulates through the engine at given temperature ranges and maintain a target temperature. This prevents inadequate or excessive cooling.

Engine Oil Pump
Engine oil pump have many advantages, including:
Lubrication and cooling: The oil pump ensures that engine components are properly lubricated, reducing friction and heat generation. As engine rpm (revolutions per minute) increases, the pump turns faster, delivering a greater flow of oil for enhanced lubrication and cooling.
Prevention of engine seizures: By delivering oil through galleries and passages around the engine, the oil pump prevents engine parts from overheating and seizing due to a lack of lubrication. If the oil pump stops working or there is insufficient oil due to leaks, engine parts can overheat and stop within seconds.
Maintenance of oil pressure: The oil pump maintains steady oil pressure inside the engine, ensuring that the lubricant flows to every component, crevice, and channel. This is essential for the proper functioning and longevity of the engine.
Longevity and reliability: The oil pump's mechanisms, such as rotor-type pumps and twin-gear pumps, are designed for longevity and the ability to pump against high pressures, contributing to the overall reliability and durability of the engine.

Engine Thermostat
Engine thermostat have many advantages, including:
Improved engine performance: Consistently maintaining the ideal engine temperature is crucial for performance. High-quality thermostats can help achieve this by keeping the engine within the optimal temperature range, essential for maximizing power output and torque. When the engine operates at the right temperature, it burns fuel more efficiently and delivers better performance, whether you’re accelerating onto the highway or tackling winding roads.
Enhanced fuel efficiency: Efficient fuel consumption is not only better for your wallet but also for the environment. A precise thermostat contributes to improved fuel efficiency by allowing the engine to reach its optimal operating temperature faster and maintain that temperature consistently.
Protection against engine wear: Engines that operate at excessively high temperatures are prone to increased wear and tear, leading to reduced engine life. Conversely, running too cold can negatively impact combustion efficiency and increase carbon buildup, affecting engine longevity.

Application of Engine Cooling System

Engine Water Pump
Engine water pump can be used for a variety of purposes, including:
Agricultural irrigation: One of the most common uses of a engine water pump is for agricultural irrigation. It can pump water from a well, river, or another water source to irrigate crops.
Construction sites: Engine water pumps are often used on construction sites to pump water from excavations, ditches, or other sources.
Firefighting: Engine water pumps are commonly used in firefighting applications to supply water to fire hoses and sprinkler systems.
Drainage: Engine water pumps can also be used to pump water from flooded areas or to drain water from a construction site.
Industrial applications: Engine water pumps are used in various industrial applications, such as mining, oil and gas, and power generation.

Engine Oil Pump
Engine oil pump can be used for a variety of purposes, including: The oil pumps primary purpose is to circulate engine oil under pressure to the bearings, pistons and the camshaft. This lubricates these systems, allows the use of higher-capacity fluid bearings and also assists in engine cooling.

Engine Thermostat
Engine thermostat can be used for a variety of purposes, including: A thermostat exerts control by switching heating or cooling devices on or off, or by regulating the flow of a heat transfer fluid as needed, to maintain the correct temperature.

Precautions for Use Engine Water Pump

Always make sure all safety guards and shields are in place while operating your water pump. Never run an overheated pump. If your pump overheats, turn it off immediately, and allow it to return to air temperature. Then, vent the pump at the drain plug if applicable. Consult the owner’s manual before restarting.

Never use a pump for fluids for which it was not intended nor designed. The two most dangerous cases are using a water pump for corrosive or flammable fluids, such as acid or gasoline, and using a pump for fluids that are too viscous for the pump to safely transport. Always keep your pump at least 3 feet away from walls and other equipment during operation. This allows the pump’s motor or engine to ventilate properly, and avoids turning the pump into a fire hazard if it overheats.

On engine driven pumps always be careful not to overfill the fuel tank. When you have filled the tank to the proper level, be sure to close the cap tightly. Also, do not spill fuel during fuelling or refuelling. If the pump is a gas pump, remember that it emits carbon monoxide as it runs. Don’t run the engine indoors. If you must place the engine indoors, ventilate the area to the outside and seal it off from the rest of the building.

Custom Engine Oil Pump

A simple kit to raise the regulated oil pressure rating of the pump. Suggested for anyone holding the engine in the upper end of the rev range, running an engine oil cooler or running a higher than original RPM limit. The oil pump is taken apart, the harsh steps carefully taken down into radius corners, cleaned, gears pre-packed with grease to prime on first start and then reassembled with high tensile internal hex bolts.

FAQ

Q: How to identify the OIL PUMP you are interested in?

A: You can determine with the OEM number or picture.

Q: What payment methods do you accept?

A: For small remittances, Western Union, TT, PAYPAL are feasible; If air freight, 100% telegraphic transfer payment in advance; For shipping orders, accept Western Union or 30% wire transfer in advance and 70% wire transfer after delivery.

Q: How does a gear oil pump operate, and where is it commonly used?

A: Gear pumps consist of two gears- the input and output gear. The input gear rotates and creates a vacuum that draws fluid into the pump while the fluid is trapped between the gear teeth and is forced out through the outlet port.

Q: What are the different types of oil pump in an engine?

A: Gear pumps are usually of the push-on type or designed as pumps with gear or chain drive. Crescent-type pumps are located in a space-saving position on the control end of the crankshaft.

Q: What two methods are used to drive engine oil pumps?

A: The engines lubrication pump is driven by yhe crankshaft or camshaft depending on engine design. Sometimes the pump is concentric with the crankshaft or driven off the back end of the camshaft or by a scew gear on the camshaft.

Q: What does an upgraded oil pump do?

A: A High-Volume Pump will push more oil through the system. It has larger gears to move more oil per revolution. These pumps are good for performance engines with larger bearing clearances. The added oil will help maintain oil pressure and carry away heat.

Q: What are the two most generally used types of oil pressure pumps?

A: There are two main types of oil pumps: gear pumps and rotor/vane pumps. Gear pumps have proven to be reliable and durable over time, making them the go-to option for many automotive manufacturers. They're simple in design, easy to manufacture, and can handle high pressures efficiently.

Q: What are the advantages of using a rotor oil pump in an engine?
